9th Grade Retreat
August 3rd - 12:00 noon-10:00pm
9th Graders - we will be meeting at the church for pizza and to hang
out for a bit to talk about high school and what the upcoming year
holds. We will then be going to play frisbee golf and then to
Mark's house to play games and watch a movie. Hope to see you
there!!
MS/HS Events
Mud Ball
August 13th - 6:00-8:30pm
There once was a farmer who lived on CR 216, who gave permission to
a youth director to use his field. The youth director called the fire
department, who came out and hosed the field down to a muddy playing
field. The youth director got the idea to put a football in the middle
of the field, pick teams, and play ball. West Independence UMC had such
an awesome time last year, they are going to do it again, and we are
invited. Other games available in addition to football. Please RSVP to
Mark by Sunday, August 3rd if you want to play this year. We will be
meeting at the church at 5:00pm on the 13th (Wednesday) to head over to
216 and play ball. Please wear your old clothes, it is gonna be muddy!!
Bring a change of clothes with you and an old towel to dry off with.
Mercy Me / Kutless Concert

Pizza @ the church before the concert @
5:00pm. Then we will head to the concert at the University
of Findlay. Concert starts at 7, and we should be back to
the church around 10:30 or 11:00. Cost is $20 for your reserved seat at the concert and $2 for pizza. Let Mark know ASAP if you are interested so he can reserve your ticket!! We are going with St. Andrew's UMC, First Presbyterian Findlay, and First Presbyterian Marion and sitting in one big group!! |
