Ephesians
4:11-13 says, "It was he (Christ) who gave
some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some
to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people
for works of service, so that the body of Christ may
be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and
in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature,
attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."
Christ
has given us all spiritual gifts and those gifts are
to be used in ministry in the church as a part of the
body of Christ. As each one of us uses our gift(s)
we will be able to minister to others. As others
use their gift(s) they will be able to minister to us.
At
St. Paul's, we offer a wide variety of ministries for
two reasons. First, it gives individuals an opportunity
to use their gift in ministry to others. Second,
it provides an avenue through which people may grow
in faith and knowledge and become mature.
Check
out the various ministries that St. Paul's has to offer.
We're sure that you'll find an area in which you can
minister. We're also sure that you'll find an
area in which you can be ministered to. What a
great way to fulfill our mission, "Offering
Christ...Discovering LIFE!"
