Because Christ has called us to serve others, we provide opportunities for the children to serve their community & world.

Compassion International

The Children's Ministry of St. Paul's sponsors a “Compassion Child.” The children bring offerings to Discover, Children's Ministry Nights, that help provide schooling, medical care, housing, and spiritual growth for our “Compassion Child.” The children also have opportunities throughout the year to write letters to our “Compassion Child,” & she writes letters to the children of St. Paul 's.

Our Compassion Child:

Husna Samwel Mrema. Husna was born on April 1, 1995 and lives with her mother in Tanzania . Husna works at home running errands and cleaning. As part of Compassion's ministry, Husna participates in Bible class. She is also in primary school where her performance is average. Playing with dolls, jumping rope and playing group games are her favorite activities.

Hands-on Service Projects

The children of St. Paul 's have many opportunities to be the hands & feet of Jesus each year through various hands-on service projects. In the past we have gone to area Nursing Homes to sing Christmas Carols to residents in order to brighten their lives. We've also handed out loaves of bread to guests at the City Mission.
